NEWS at NEWSTEAD:

Hillary, Newstead Here Comes The Sun, went WB/BOS at her second show for her first point (her first show was the ECSCA national). Thanks as usual to Aunt Sue for handling her so beautifully - boy, can she show off Hillary's movement!

Elvis is so proud of his get from his first three litters :

Karen Roth's Ch. Bellflower XLI MVP, Peyton- Reserve Best in Sweeps at the 2010 ECSCA National, Group 4 placement from the classes, and BOS at Bryn Mawr Supported Entry!

Raul Peralta's Boz, Ch. Fieldstone Harbor Lights, Reserve Best in Sweeps and Winners Dog at American Spaniel Club Show 2010.

And Linda Amick's Molly, Tevershall My Blue Heaven, for her sweeps and regular class placements at the nationals, her RBinSweeps and RWB at the Denver Specialty, followed the next day by a major WB/BOS!

Welcome to the home of Newstead English Cocker Spaniels, a small show/hobby kennel located outside of Charlotte, North Carolina.

ECS have been our passion since 1996. In Dec. of that year my husband, sons and I brought home our first ECS, Blackavar Newstead Abbey. In May of 1998 a vibrant eight week old, who would become our foundation bitch, came home with us. Lulu was everything I had dreamed of in an ECS and delighted us by becoming our first champion as well as having two beautiful and healthy litters.

The shock of losing Lulu and her chow-mix buddy Zoe in a house fire in 2003 will never leave me. This website is dedicated to her - my first champion, my bed dog, my heart - Ch. Bellflower Reflection - my Lulu.
